00/HR is Compensation Range FACILITY RUNS ON A ROTATING SHIFT FOR OFF DAYS General Duties Include:
Perform alignment checks on rotating equipment (e.
g.
, pumps, fans blowers, turbines, gear boxes, compressors, motors, hydraulic lines) in accordance with equipment specifications in order to ensure reliable performance and prevent damage.
Lubricate equipment in accordance with lubrication schedule and equipment specifications to ensure reliable performance and prevent damage.
Knowledge of 3 phase electrical Troubleshooting PLC's, switches, safety controls and ability to read schematics.
Adhere to safety, health, and environmental standards and policies by taking personal responsibility to prevent injury or illness from exposure to hazards.
Maintain housekeeping by adhering to established site standards and by removing all maintenance-related parts and waste to ensure a safe and orderly job site.
Perform the proper lock-out/tag-out procedures on equipment in accordance with applicable standards to ensure zero energy state prior to commencing maintenance work and minimize health, safety, and environmental hazards to employees and the community.
Use and maintenance and measuring tools and equipment in accordance with manufacturers' specifications and established safety policies to ensure safety and efficiency.
Handle all maintenance materials and parts in accordance with established standards and procedures to prevent damage to the parts and equipment.
Document maintenance activities using the facility's maintenance management system and logs.
Performs maintenance of the wastewater and utilities systems as required.
Performs assigned general housekeeping duties.
Performs regular inspection activities on equipment to identify abnormalities and takes appropriate actions to return equipment to good operating condition.
Actively participate in improvement group activities sharing and utilizing knowledge to maximize the effectiveness of the group and its objectives.
Perform preventive and/or predictive maintenance according to the work plan to maximize mean time between failures.
The Ideal Candidate:
Certificate/Associates' Degree in Industrial Maintenance/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering Ability to operate powered industrial vehicles.
Manufacturing Maintenance experience.
Maintenance experience within a food/beverage environment is preferred.
Must have the ability to work under pressure and potentially stressful conditions.
Must be self-motivated and a self-starter.
Ability to pass a skill qualification assessment Must be able to pass Drug and Background test (Urine Test) Job Type:
