Our company is searching for Warehouse Team Member to join our Dilmar Oil family in our Florence SC facility.
Warehouse team members with Dilmar Oil fill an important role in our goal to remain an industry leader in lubrication distribution.
A successful candidate must be physically able and prepared to stand for extended periods of time, lift considerable weights, and able to pass a drug screen.
On the job training is crucial to the success of the operation, so applicants should have a willingness to learn and take constructive criticism.
The ideal candidate must be comfortable in a fast-paced team environment, since all tasks will require cooperation from others, and open to new opportunities for on-the-job career-oriented training.
Responsibilities can include, but are not limited to Role and
Responsibilities:
1) Adhering to all safety standards, company policies, and standard operating procedures.
2) Maintain communication with fellow associates and supervisors on quality control measures, shipping/receiving accuracy, and workplace safety.
3) Follow detailed verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision.
4) Load, unload, and secure cargo in and out of our facility.
5) Operate forklifts, man lifts, manual and electric pallet jacks.
6) Be ready and able to lift, stack, move, and organize a wide variety of cases of various shapes, weights (up to 70lbs), and sizes.
7) Be able to move drums up to 800 lbs.
with provided forklift and manual tools.
8) Completing necessary paperwork to ensure quality and accurate reporting.
9) Ability to work in high heat conditions.
10) Basic math skills and comprehension required.
11) Applicants will be expected to be dependable, prompt, and demonstrate a strong work ethic with a sense of teamwork.
12) Any other assignments that are deemed necessary to safely produce, ship, and receive a quality product at a productive rate.
Education and Work Skills
Experience:
High School Diploma or GED Forklift experience is recommended, but additional training will be provided.
Forklift certification is a plus.
Current Driver's license Must be motivated and be open to new learning opportunities in a fast paced and goal-oriented setting.
