Job Description:
Field Service Technicians at Meco are responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining fuel dispensing equipment at retail, commercial, industrial and marine locations.
Upon full training and certification, technicians will be required to perform work in a timely and professional manner to the highest standard of quality.
Responsibilities:
Maintain high level of professionalism by arriving to work on time, keeping physical appearance and work van in clean/working order Perform daily tasks efficiently and effectively Exercise organizational skills related to work detail (work orders, purchase orders, receipts, transfer requests, time tracking logs, etc.
) Communicate effectively with customers in a respectful and intelligent manner Follow safety procedures/protocol at all times Job Requirements:
At least 2 years of technical, mechanical, electrical, or computer experience (required) At least 2 years of troubleshooting and/or repairing experience (required) Ability to operate hand and power tools, computer/technology equipment, and vehicle (required) Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record High School Diploma or GED Pre-employment and random drug testing Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Problem-solving and critical thinking skills Able to work in the field alone or in a team environment depending on the job Work Conditions:
Daily working conditions typically include both indoor and outdoor tasks with a moderate level of physical activity.
