PDS Tech is seeking a Process Engineerfor an open position in Florence, SC.
The Process Engineer I position provides technical manufacturing support for a specified product. The position is a role with a strong focus on process simplification, cycle time and defect reduction across multiple product lines, and furthermore must be able to work autonomously.
Key responsibilities include:
o Reducing product lead time via the implementation of Lean Manufacturing concepts on the production line
o Improving product quality and reliability by executing defect reduction projects
o Reviewing and root causing field returns
o Work cross-functionally with design engineering, fulfillment, sourcing to meet quality, delivery and cost goals
o Engaging with suppliers on incoming material defects
o Ensuring Regulatory compliance through Validation & Verification
o Ensuring EHS compliance and improvement
o Maintaining and generating comprehensive procedures
Qualifications:
o BS in Engineering and 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment or BS in Electronic Engineering Technology and 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
o Electrical or electronics manufacturing experience
o Labview, Agilent Vee or database programming knowledge
o Lean Manufacturing experience
o Strong technical acumen
This position may require you to submit to and pass a drug test and/or background check.
If this is a hands-on position, you may also be required to pass a safety and productivity examination.
